Table Talk @ The Church Without Walls ...Houston , TX

Let me start off by saying I am a member of a close to perfect church that is growing and leaping beyond our walls and I am so happy to be apart of the vision. Pastor Ralph Douglas West is the greatest Preacher,Teacher and preaches right from the word So don't close your bible follow along....

Last night we read from John 18 : 38 the question Pilate asked  "What is the truth?"

As we set at the table to talk and flip through the bible to seek the answer Pilate asked."What is Truth?" Pilate was looking at truth and didn't recognize him. He was in the dark.

We went back to John 1:1 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God"

John 1:2 "He was in the beginning with God"

John 1: 4-5 "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it."

Pilate ask " What is truth?" Before he asked that question

in John 18:37 Pilate asked  "Are you a king then?" Jesus answered " You say rightly that I am king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of truth hears My voice"

John 18:37 "What is truth?" Jesus is the truth let's look at John 1:6-13
God sent a man whose name was John to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.8. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.9 That was the true Light which gives Light to every man coming into the world.10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.11. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.12 But as many received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man but of God.

Recap it is through Christ that we get light and understanding it is through Christ who is truth that we be born again to be children of God.

John 1:14 and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we behold His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.....

So "What is truth?" ...Jesus is Truth

Be Blessed so if you get a Pilate who has a question about our Jesus and about Truth you should know how to answer his question...

Playing it over and over in my head
Why is it that I just can’t seem to get ahead?
My heart is stuck in the past
While my mind and body continues to move
Am I still being naive about my feelings?
Pretending to careless when I really want to be the one
The one he calls the one he loves the one he trusts
If I continue to live in denial this is going to be a mess
I cannot continue to stress I need to progress
I honestly need to charge it to the game
It is not like this is the first time feeling this way
"Tears" said it all but my actions are proving me wrong
Playing it over and over and my head
I’m done I’m through, through with who
Is it true that love is hard to throw out
But what if love doesn’t love you back
Should you continue to sit and ponder?
On could’ve? should’ve? would’ve?
Guess these are issues within me
Life based on feelings leads to disasters
I don’t know but I’m going to be patient
I know my worth I know my heart I know me
I will not settle I will not accept substitutes
I am Shanita but before given a name I was always
And forever will be a Child of God.
I will stand still and wait for what is already made for me.
Facts and faith over powers feelings any day.

A Glimpse of the pain you've experienced in the past can hurt your present state of mind if you haven't recognized your role in the past and if you haven't taken the blame off of yourself... I had to realize that I was and I am still good. I always put my best intention up first and even if its not returned I learned not to blame myself for why things didn't work. I just believe that one day my love given will be returned once I remove FEAR of getting hurt again out of my system because it can hurt your present state of mind.. Especially you've both been the victim of pain...GOD IS AWESOME

Its time to wake up! We are no longer living for ourselves but we are walking models to our daughters; their first views on how a woman should be.


Women its times to know your worth and stop settling. Its times to love the woman you are and stop allowing man to take complete control of giving you love. LOVE starts from within.


You think your daughter don't notice the different men that's been around. She may not be able to yell and say it aloud but she is watching you closer than you think.


Women its time to know your worth. I know your tired of getting hurt but that doesn't mean you give up hope.


You may feel bitter in the inside because of past hurt but you have to believe that the pain you endured was only so GOD could bring you out. So that your story which turns in to HIS STORY can be a blessing to someone else. No Pain, No Tear, No Scar is wasted but embraced as a Victory to give GOD the GLORY.


Women its time to know your worth. You don't have to chase that man, whatever needs to be chased needs to be uncaught. What is for you is for you and while your chasing whats not yours you miss the blessing God has for you. Because you were "Looking for Love in all the wrong places".


Women its time to know your worth and know the truth. The truth is that until you love yourself and until you know your worth and know that you belong to a GOD who loves you more than any man could ever love you; Sister you are truly missing out.


There is no greater feeling than to know that when man tells you your nothing ; God says "say your name" I need you. When man tell you your worthless ; God says "say your name" you are worthy. When man says you will get no where ; God says "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you" Matthew 6:25-34 Do Not Worry...


When you loose the world but gain a relationship with GOD by accepting his son Jesus Christ you gain eternal life . For we are not of this world but here for a temporary assignment.

Being devious, untrustworthy, deceitful are games that can end in pain."Secret Lovers that's what we are" hearing "Your My Little Secret" in my head. Why be sneaky and why hide from the truth? Why play games? Questions I ask those in relationships, or in marriage. Why build on something when your heart is in two places? Why must we try to have our cake and eat it too? Lying is something you start to believe.. Just honest, blunt, and straight to the point give your partner and or spouse the opportunity to help you and cope so your relationship won't end in turmoil. We can defeat the lies and temptations.

Live your life. Don't worry about your future for God already has it planned. Remember there is no need for Satan to attack on souls that already cling to his ways. So if you feel under attack its because he knows who you belong to ;and as long as you know the truth and know that you have been brought with a price by the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made you will always be a victor and come out of every devious setup or decoy that small devil tries to bind you to.

There is power in the tongue. We must be very mindful of the words we use to describe our character. What are you saying to yourself while looking in the mirror? What is that small still voice saying when you think about your future? What do you think of yourself?


Whenever you fall down GET BACK UP, whenever you feel ashamed remind yourself that You are a child of GOD and GOD has made you in his imagine and with power in your hands through Christ.Satan will try to convince you that your unworthy, you can't make it, you are nothing but you defeat the lies with truth.. Study and meditate on Gods word to feed your soul the truth and to be vindicated


Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

By Faith We Receive Gods Grace....

God is a Gracious and Merciful GOD.


By him we receive grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His Name.
Romans 1:5


For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of GOD to salvation for everyone who believes.

For in it the righteousness of GOD is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith"
Romans 1:17


Therefore GOD also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lust of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves.

We honor GOD by living by faith and acting on obedience. Grace gives us the desire and power to obey. God has called us to be his apostles and we have been called to receive his grace. We must first believe and have faith that GOD is who GOD says he is and that GOD will show us his grace. It is by faith that we have salvation, it is by faith that we grow in Godliness. GOD loves to honor faith because faith honors HIM..Don't be ashamed in the gospel of Jesus

However if you decide not to believe and to live your life the way you see fit and live a life displeasing to GOD. You must remember we have a GOD who gives us free WILL. Romans 1:24 says Therefore GOD also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lust of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves. God doesn't force us to live a life that is pleasing to him he just says have faith and obey me. GODs GRACE gives us a chance to become clean again Gods GRACE gives us a chance to wipe the dust and try again, GOD grace frees us from bondage from sin that is so heavy to carry, GOD grace gives us a new start and it is by Faith that we receive his GRACE and we Choose to obey GOD for who he is. GOD IS LOVE , GOD IS MERCIFUL, GO IS GRACIOUS, GOD IS ALPHA AND THE OMEGA... START WITH GOD AND FINISH WITH GOD FOR HE IS AWESOME....

Foundation is Important...



Foundation is what keeps us grounded and keeps up standing even through tough times; Whether spiritually,economically, physically and mentally. When you are deeply rooted in the Living Word of GOD you can defeat all trials and tribulations. It is not going to be easy but you have to know that it is only a test. The sun will not shine all the time; there will be rain, strong winds, natural disasters and catastrophic events but will you be able to fall and get back up and stand the test of times...

I personally have experienced seeing companies doors shut with no work yet have Rent, Car Payment, Bills, and other expenses life brings. But if I had not been deeply rooted and had trust in my father I don't know what I would have done..

I was out of a job for 3 months but I never missed a bill, never got a letter on my door for paying rent late, I still had my car, I took a trip home to visit, had a phone on to receive calls, I was even able to tithe whatever I had whether it was my time, talent or money. I don't know how it all got paid but I can tell you I know who provided a way who created blessings to overtake me... So at times when I feel discouraged I think back to when I thought I was on my last dollar and I remember GOD stepping in.. He may not come when you want him to come but He is ALWAYS ON TIME...

I want to thank my Pastor Ralph Douglas West for Being a Faithful Servant and always delivering the Living Word of GOD and for teaching and encouraging me to Stand on the Word of GOD to Keep Believing and to Keep my Eyes on JESUS...
